As a Mitigation Project Manager, you play a crucial role in planning, executing, and closing restoration projects related to water damage and mold remediation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, execute, and manage restoration projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate and schedule tasks with various teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project progression.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, reporting any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Obtain bids from an existing network of subcontractors.
- Analyze, summarize, and present bid to client for approval.
- Ability to engage with Fortune 500 level clientele with a collaborative and informational mindset.
- Ability to provide exceptional caliber of customer service to our Fortune 500 clients with every individual interaction from start to finish of every project.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to Project Managers in the field, and clients as needed.
- Record project expenses, track budgets, and assist in cost control efforts.
- Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address all concerns and questions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Hire and closely manage subcontractors to ensure restoration work adheres to industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Travel to onsite inspections to assess project quality and compliance with specifications.
- Identify potential project risks and issues and proactively work to mitigate them.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any challenges that may arise during project execution.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless project transitions and hand-offs.
- Ability to successfully manage projects from start to finish.
- Relevant work experience in a project management role.
- Certified in MRS (Mold Remediation Specialist) – preferred.
- Certified in WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) – preferred.
- Certified in BMI (Building Moisture Inspection) – preferred.
- Experience with reconstruction and asbestos mitigation – preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools. Xactimate – preferred.
- Strong understanding of mold remediation and restoration processes.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work outside of M-F daytime hours 10% of the time.
